Hot Springs was \u003cbr\u003e\nfirst established as a national site on\u003cbr\u003e\n                April 20,\u003cbr\u003e\n                1832, to conserve the water from the 47 springs that \u003cbr\u003e\nemerge from Hot Springs Mountain and to ensure\u003cbr\u003e\n                that\u003cbr\u003e\n                water was made available for drinking and therapy.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n            \u003cp\u003eThe quarter’s reverse (tails side) image depicts the \u003cbr\u003e\nfaçade of the Hot Springs National Park\u003cbr\u003e\n                headquarters\u003cbr\u003e\n                building with a fountain in the foreground.
